OMG, wash your brain out. That's no dream, it's a nightmare.

As for this morning (the snow was deep?? How much did you get? If it's less than 6" it's not deep) ... it was just a dream.

Best DH ever last night. Totally didn't see it coming when Laurie Metcalf (who should have been a regular from day one) shot Nora. Lynette's speech was brilliant (she should win more awards) and then another bang to the shoulder. I kept saying "shut up" to the tv. So good.

And, is it the housewives in your class that are close to tears or just you? Bless.

[...] The circuit training takes place in a room containing D, myself, a half dozen assorted local housewives, and a trainer (Hannah) who is tiny tiny tiny (I swear she buys her workout gear at Hamleys), and who pushes us - I mean really pushes us - till we’re close to tears: She’s got me doing a wall squat, she walks to the other side of the room to bark a command at another victim, her back is to me, I shift my weight slightly, and, without missing a beat, with only a gesture over her shoulder, she barks “You! Back into it! And don’t move again!” Oh, and she doesn’t sweat. Not so much as a sheen. Current common agreement has it that she’s had her sweat ducts or glands or whatever hermetcially sealed at one of those dodgy Ex-Communist Clinics in some Eastern Bloc place that now has better facilities and funding than the average NHS place. Still, we remind ourselves, we’re paying for the pleasure; and it is a pleasure. I can actually feel my Gluteus Maximus. What’s even better is that D can - and does - feel my Gluteus Maximus. We’re slowly losing weight, toning up, feeling better (damn, those endorphins are goooooood), we ‘re building (thanks to the half dozen assorted local housewives) a nice selection of low fat and high fibre recipes for our return from the TOAL (tm), my two-pack is showing, and, thanks to the military-style training we’re receiving from the diminutive Hannah, I can strip an AK47, oil it, rebuild it and take out an entire house load of civilians in three point five, so it’s all good.
Mmm th Equalities Act (yes Act it's already been passed) furore got my goat this week too. I dusted off my bible and the only reference to adoption I could find was by an unmarried single mother (one presumes this would not fit with the Catholic Church's 'conscience' either), she just happened to be the mother of Moses the law giver . . . I leave you to make up your own minds.
