written Thursday night. published sunday. sorry for delay…

Tracy Young.s Flying Monkey mix of “Defying Gravity” - mixed with a bootleg mix of Ms Fields’ famous acceptance speech - appears to have become the soundtrack to my life lately. “I can’t do this.” “‘I’ve done it. They love me.”

This morning D says “I never realised this job would make you so tense.”

And he’s right: I’m tense - involved, perhaps - because not only do I want this to be good; but, for the first time in a long time, I can see each footstep in the still warm primordial mud of possibility. This might work: I might teach amoeba to grow legs.

Or I might sink up to my nuts in hot slime (not, I’ll admit, a fate worse than death. Unless death is blowing to expiry by Estonian 22 year olds with the lung capacity of a nuclear submarine.)

But I digress - and its been a while.

Home after a night out.

Soundtrack of the new duran britney jlo seal tim mc graw adding to the awe I feel at the masterpiece that is “Christine Falls” by ben black. Like a verbose beckett on a jameson jag with chandler

But more, of that and the rest, later.

Sleep well…
