What’s happening with me? Hmm, let’s see…Â
- Chest infection still gripping like a vice.
- Job offer on table from The Financial Utility Co (AKA Job I’m not too keen on).
- Feng Shui Banking Corp (AKA Job I am keen on) want me, but haven’t made offer yet.
- First job offer has financial incentive (ten grand sterling) if I sign up by Tuesday, so Job IÂ need to move quickly. Or perhaps I’ll just pass on the Job I’m Not Too Keen On and keep fingers crossed?
Aaaaaaaagh.
Everything will be fine, I know, and I know that all of this stress is self-induced, but …. Aaaaaaaagh!
So, did anyone watch “Heroes” when it debuted on BBC2 last night? I, of course, being a bad blogger (as opposed to a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad blogger) Never watched it on digital, so started last night, and I really like it. it could, of course, go all “Lost” on me, but for now, I think I have another reason for a new laptop, and a lesson in the use of bit torrent…
Tomorrow, off after work to the West Country, home of hot young farmers , buff country lads, and very very strong cider, for Toby’s 8th birthday.
OH, WAIT…. Feng Shui Banking Corp (AKA Job I am keen on) do want me, haven’t made the offer formally yet, but request the pleasure of my company at their palatial lair at lunchtime tomorrow for a mutual appreciation gang ba*ng, costume fitting, and formal final run through of my opening number (complete with line of dusky Dominican Chorus Boys. And a neck-brace wearing midget from Shanghai. But, on that, more later).
