Then on to Larnach’s, a castle built by a family whose story sounds like a bad ’80s blockbuster novel: Madness, alcoholism, affairs, close-to-incest, more madness, suicide, bad blood, and a wronged woman diying in exile. Thecn, back to the ship, where there was no madness, alcoholism, affairs, incest or suicide. That I could see.

Rachel McAdams attorneys are negotiating for the fast-rising Canadian star to join Eric Bana in romance The Time Travellers Wife. McAdams would play a woman who falls for a librarian with a freak gene that causes him to leap backwards and forwards in time. New Line, the studio that gave McAdams her breakout role opposite Ryan Gosling in the hit 2004 romance The Notebook, plans a September shoot. McAdams credits include The Wedding Crashers, Red Eye and Mean Girls.

Loved this book. Loved it. Don’t know if it needs a movie, though. Sadly, i can’t see it working. Although I’d be very happy to see Mr Bana ‘working’.
