Valley of the Trolley Dollies

A shamelss cnp from ‘Publishers Lunch’ today:

“… we reported another 30 new deals just since yesterday (and over 100 so far this week), among them: Three books from podcasting horror author Scott Sigler; pet expert Harrison Forbes’ memoir of the dogs in his life; The Ninja Handbook, from the creators of YouTube sensation AskaNinja.com; Geri Halliwell’s children’s series; Anna Nicole Smith’s bodyguard Moe Brighthaupt’s book; Harry Sidebottom’s trilogy of ancient Rome to Michael Joseph; and still dozens more. ”

So much to feel aggrieved about here. But, of principal focus for my bile are the words  Geri Halliwell’s children’s serie.

Coming for Christmas: The four Horsemen, and the Whore of Babylon riding the great Beast down Browdway in the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade.

Oh, wait, Mrs Richie’s adopting again in Malawi. Better get a move on before La Halliwell nips in and pinches all the good ones, leaving only the crips and goitered.
