You know Enya, right?
Well, do you reckon, when she’s on the bog, you’d hear them sounds. You know the ones: Synthesised keyboard glissandae building in tone and volume until her multi-tracked voice comes in over the top singing wordless songs of mysterious otherworldly places, and using musical phrases unheard of since the elves abandoned the upper world?
Or do you reckon it’s a series of violent straining noises followed by the sound of the contents of an abatoir being hurled down the pan, and the scratch of a match being struck?
