Lemon butter slathered deep fried Chicken Shnitzel at Stephs. Two heart attacks on a plate, but sooooooo good. Mmmmm! And having great friends and a lovely husband to share it with helped.
‘Torchwood‘ - It’s not the Royal Shakespeare Co, but it (officially) gave me nightmares last week. Woke up from a dream that D - in his new incarnation as half man / half cyberman - was trying to kill me, and punched him squarely in the chest. On hearing his cry of alarm and satisfiying myself that he was, in fact, mortal and killable, I (apparently) smiled happily, and snooooozed back off to sleep.

Looking forward to my parents visiting, a whole new set of windows being installed through out the house, getting a new job to escape from the madhouse that has become my current situation (more anon), and the raft of things that are lining up to fil lthe dark winter nights with twinkle and sparkle. Starting with Ros Russell in ‘Mame’ at the bobzyeruncle cinema club tomorrow.
