weekend
Monday, October 30th, 2006Gotta be brief as am busy busy today…
Highlights:
Thursday’s trip to ‘The History Boys‘ - a truly wonderful, very Alan Bennett film, with great writing, and wonderful perfomances. My dad and I loved it.

Saturday’s hallowe’en / Birthday Party for Bob’s Larry. 8 meaux’s in drag; two girls in looks of permanent bemusement; Lashings and lashings of alcoholic beverages; singstar ’80’s* and Buzz on the ps2*; a trip (in heels and full drag) to the Quebec for a drink and a boogie (and a great deal of fending off of wandering hands - I swear I am sooo going cruising next time in a dress. Never before have I been the recipient of so much interest); and a walk back fending off wolf-whistling cabbies. A 4am bedtime was a small price to pay for such a fantastic night. Pics will be posted soon as.
*how long before they do a musical theatre version of either of these games? I mean, they’re quite clearly aimed at a certain ‘target’ audience already, so surely a singstar that lets you shriek along to ‘Not while I’m around’ in a key of your own making whilst scoring ‘golden notes’ all over the shop is a done deal.
