Normality
Back to work.
Back to Tesco shopping.
Back to Normality.
I tell ya, getting married is great, but it’s exhausting. I do not know how Mariah (she on fiah) Carey does it, year after year. Both D and I are in dire need of sleep. But that’s what spending your honeymoon in transit will do for you.
Still, wouldn’t change any part of the past two and a half glorious weeks for anything.
Am currently trying to wite a web page to display the various photos as well as the stories behind the songs on the cds, the text of the ceremony, and other bits and pieces from the day. However, my HTML abilities are as rusty as my Medieval Latin (ie non-existent), so am having a little trouble. But we’ll get there asap.
Meantime, a quick look ahead:
Tomorrow - racing at Goodwood.
Next Thursday: The (Increasingly Im) material Girl @ Wembley (D’s wedding pressie to me).
On the horizon: A trip to the Northern In-Laws. Write the ‘Thank You’ cards for all our brilliant gifts and cards. Mail (or preferably) deliver in person. Expect to see yours about December at this rate
The official pictures have been collected. They look Fan. Tas.Tic. There’s even a couple of me that made me go ‘Hmmmm. He’s nice. Who’s he?’ as well as a ton of gorgeous shots of the gorgeous people we had at our wedding. So we need to get those around to you all (sorry, can’t go on the internet yet: agreement with the photographers) for viewing and selection of reprints.
And that change I mentioned some time back? Well, getting married was a big step. Next, I want to step up in my career, so the ‘Find me a great new career’ project starts this coming weekend. That’s the same weekend that the ‘Clean the car’, ‘Master HTML and write a new website’, ‘Start your third Novel’, ‘Tidy the house’, ‘Get some sleep’ and ‘Do your tax Return’ projects kick off too. Wish I was on a yacht in the med right now, like him.
